Yet another wonderful stay at the Ausable River Resort. The cabins are quaint and we felt like we were transported back to a simpler time. The staff was very attentive to anything we needed. Is there A/C, no, was it needed, again, no. Are the cabins old, yes, is that part of the charm, absolutely. We'll be back again next year.

Stayed here for a long weekend to get some rest and relaxation. Prices were affordable and what I would expect for the amount paid . Staff was great and very friendly. Would stay here again when in the area. This place is out and away from the city, which is what I love.

Hot showers, a comfortable bed, peace and quiet. What more could you need? The owner was super friendly and accommodating. I also enjoyed having Molly (the resident dog) come around to say hi. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a great little hidden gem. The cabins are clean and have everything you need to cook. A fridge, stove, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. It's a nice little property right off the highway Larry the owner is a fantastic guy. Very friendly. If you are planning to travel to this area to hunt or fish or just explore the Au Sauble River... this is a perfect place to stay!!
